Just for Kids

1. Register in person at your Library or sign up online.
2. Record the number of books you read with your child online or on a Reading Log.
3. Read books from your Library or your home—and read them as many times as you want! If you read the same book five times, that counts as five books.
4. Visit the Library every time you read 100 books to receive a sticker.

Mark milestones with prizes!

For every 100 books you and your child read, visit the Library to receive a sticker and to have your child’s photo taken. (Photography is optional.)

When you’ve read 500 books together, visit the Library to receive a new book to keep with your sticker.

Your child will receive a small prize and a sticker for each additional 100 books read, beginning with 600 books.

Reach 1000 books to complete the challenge. When you do, your child will receive a grand prize!

Teachers at child care centers and preschool programs can also join, track reading, and receive prizes for their classroom.

Do you need new books to read with your child? Ask your Personal Librarian to select them for you, then pick them up curbside or have them delivered to your doorstep!
