Vigo County Public Library is seeking a full-time Lending Services Clerk to provide excellent service experiences for library customers. Lending Services Clerks assist customers, issue library cards, perform circulation transactions using an automated library system, and assist in the day-to-day activities of the Lending Services Department.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong clerical skills with attention to detail, familiarity with computers and computer programs, and interest and enthusiasm for working with the public.

VCPL is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a full-time Youth Services Assistant Librarian. Assistant Librarians play a vital role in shaping the library experience for children, teens, and families. Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, offering personalized recommendations and research assistance, developing and leading engaging programs and events, processing circulation transactions, and providing technology support. Assistant Librarians also participate in community outreach efforts and assist with daily operations to help achieve the department’s goals and objectives.
