Connect with Your Community!

Every September, over 1,700 people visit Vigo County Public Library’s Main Library to connect with new organizations, learn about local resources, and enjoy time with their families—and this year promises to be the biggest Family Learning Day yet! Alongside our free books, crafts, and other activities, we’ll be hosting a Foam Homies Bubble Party and giving away two grand prizes.

This extraordinary event brings together Wabash Valley families, educators, and community partners for a celebration of knowledge, growth, and togetherness. From science experiments to artistic explorations, Family Learning Day is a vibrant tapestry of interactive, hands-on activities that engage young minds and ignite a passion for learning.

Does your organization want to participate?

You can help make this event an even bigger success and reach out to members of our community you may not encounter otherwise. All you need to do is submit your application by September 6 with a brief explanation of what sort of activities you’d like to provide for children ages two to eleven.
