The Wabash Valley Community Read is an initiative of Vigo County Public Library that aims to foster curiosity, a love of reading, and a sense of community. Around 2,500 books will be distributed in the community starting in March 2027.

Join us for the 2027 Wabash Valley Community Read Art Show, open to all Wabash Valley artists of all skill levels and ages.
Our theme this year is based on our 2027 Community Read, Framed: Astonishing True Stories of Wrongful Convictions, by John Grisham and Jim McCloskey. While much of Framed involves the wrongful convictions and the legal system, we are hoping that the artwork will draw inspiration from the emotions and experiences that the individuals in these stories lived through. There is isolation and solitude, but also hope, redemption and the overcoming of adversity.
