Join us on a journey inspired by Rebekah Taussig’s Sitting Pretty: The View from My Ordinary, Resilient, Disabled Body, our 2025 NEA Big Read selection. 

Gain new insight into the lives of local individuals with disabilities, as well as the caregivers and organizations that make a difference in many of their lives. Every Body Has A Story shares heartfelt stories about living with a disability, highlights resources for those seeking support, and encourages listeners to foster empathy, build connections, and celebrate the diverse experiences that shape the Wabash Valley.

Episode 1: Danny Wayne Beemer

Join us and Danny Wayne Beemer as he shares his story of living with blindness and how he overcomes challenges and lives his life to the fullest.

Episode 2: Hannah Gadlage

Join us as we chat with Hannah Gadlage of the Terre Haute Friendship House. She’ll give you a look inside her life, journey and experiences.

In this edition, host Sean Eisele sits down with local Down Syndrome advocate Dixie Russell, who opens up about her journey as the caregiver of a child with Down Syndrome.
